Team lead Infra Support

Main Functions:

• Managing the organization and operations of the infra team,

• Reporting on activities and performance of the infra team.

• Organizing training and knowledge transfer sessions with the infra team members,

• Managing the staffing of the infra team according to utilization and capacity models,

• Developing and maintaining the schedules and rosters for the infra team,

• Maintaining the internal procedures and work instructions of the infra team.

The Team Lead Infra Support must have good interpersonal and managerial skills and must be a team player.

In close relations with:

• Infrastructure Architects Team

• Infrastructure Support Team,

• Project Managers

Duties:

• Manages the team,

• Creates and maintains the shift planning and aligns it with the team members,

• Oversees incident management and problem solving,

• Aligns with other teams and stakeholders, e.g. with project managers for resource allocation,

• Acts as escalation point for the infra team,

• Arranges site access for interventions in DCs of member states.

Working Conditions:

• Business hours between 9:00 and 17:00,

Employment and technical Requirements:

• Can work and act with good quality under time pressure,

• Has excellent reporting and communication skills,

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in ICT domains as team lead infra or a comparable role,

• Affinity with / technical understanding of IT concepts for the domains listed below:

o Storage (HPE 3PAR, HPE Primera, HPE StoreOnce (backup), Veeam, Ceph),

o Virtualization (VMware),

o Operating Systems (RHEL, MS Windows),

o Physical Infrastructure (HPE iLO, rack management systems),

o Networking (Cisco ACI, switching, routing, firewalling, load balancing).

• Working experience with:

o JIRA,

o Ticketing tools (e.g. HPE SM9).

• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and demonstrated ability to work in complex environments,

• Good writing skills.

• Working experience with EU client or other public institution is an added value.

Languages:

• English proficient (CEFRL Level: Minimum C1)

Location:

• Daily presence at customer office in Strasbourg required.

Education:

• Bachelor or University degree in IT or equivalent through relevant experience.
