Resiliency Engineer – IT Continuity

We are seeking a Resiliency Engineer to join the IT Continuity team of our client. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the bank’s ability to react to critical failures of applications or data centers, in alignment with regulatory requirements and group policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and validate Application Impact Analysis (AIA), Continuity Run Book (CRB), Disaster Recovery (DR) Unitary Exercise documents, and address potential gaps.
  • Act as the main contact for resiliency topics for various internal teams.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for the preparation and execution of DR exercises, including capacity studies and risk mitigation planning.
  • Facilitate the execution of DR exercises, ensuring readiness and responsiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a resiliency engineer, security engineer, OPS engineer, or architect.
  • Strong interest in the Resiliency domain or clear understanding of resiliency expectations and challenges.
  • Excellent English communication skills; Dutch/French proficiency is a plus.
  • Familiarity with technology landscape, stakeholder management, communication best practices, and architectural principles.
  • Experience with one or more of the following domains: Windows, Linux, Mainframe, Cloud, Application development, Databases, Middleware, etc.
