Service description:
For our EGAF (Elia Group Application Framework) product team, we are looking for a backend-developer to help us build solutions that elevate developer productivity and experience at Elia Group.
The consultant will work in a product team consisting of 1 UX designer, 1 Scrum Master, a Product Owner, 3 architects (.NET, Java, Python) and we are currently looking to hire additional developers. We expect the consultant is comfortably to work with the requested stack, be versatile enough to tackle technological challenges out of his/her comfort zone and be willing to go the extra mile in delivering the best solutions for our user base, which are the developers themselves.
The role will report into the Sub-Chapter and be part of the EGAF product team.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of proven experience and programming proficiency as a backend- developer in Java is a must
- Skilled and autonomous using spring and spring-boot and native Jakarta EE on a day-to-day basis
- Long-term experience developing and implementing REST and gRPC API’s
- Advanced SecDevOps knowledge including containerization and CI/CD
- Very good English skills (min. C1); German and/or French is an advantage
- Experience with SQL/RDBMS as well as basics on streaming DBs
- Able to write clean, effective, production-ready code
- Experience with developing cloud-native solutions is a must
- At least 5 years of project experience in Agile (Scrum) teams
- Good team and communication skills
