We are looking for a Product Owner service to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the product el.AI in close collaboration with internal clients and in line with the product line vision in order to maximize the value of the product for the end users.
The product El.AI aims at offering to data scientists and citizen developers a self-governed platform as a service hosting, executing, and operating scalable AI models developed within our organization. Services include a feature store, SLA, model deployment, performance monitoring, model monitoring pipelines, ownership of model re-training, and continuous improvements. The solution currently relies on the non-exhaustive following technologies: Azure ML, Git, MLflow, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, formulate, and communicate a vision for the product in line with the product line vision and customer needs.
- Develop and communicate the product roadmap (product features, prioritization, release timelines, etc.) based on customer needs and the product line roadmap.
- Initiate, develop, and maintain contacts with (internal) customers and other relevant stakeholders, as well as represent these stakeholders within the own team.
- Build, update, and maintain the product team’s backlog, and prioritize user stories, based on customer needs and stakeholder requirements.
- Ensure the product meets predefined quality standards, conduct tests and monitor product performance.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and communicate product releases and ensure the right features are delivered at the right time.
- Participate in scrums and product-related ceremonies (incl. daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives etc.).
Requirements:
- Experience with machine learning lifecycle, including model selection, training, validation, and deployment.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and principles.
- Keen understanding of customer needs.
- At least 5 years of experience managing SaaS or PaaS products.
- A strong grasp of agile methodologies and a track record of working with cross-functional agile teams.
- You should possess an analytical mindset, capable of using data to inform decision-making and evaluate product success.
- Familiarity with the full software development life cycle and various prioritization frameworks, such as RICE, Kano Model, MoSCoW, and Cost of Delay, is expected.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for software development, a focus on creating exceptional user experiences, and a customer-centric approach are crucial.
- Comfortable in interacting with all organizational levels, adept at distilling complex technical and business concepts into clear narratives, and skilled at providing positive, constructive feedback.
- Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of German, French, or Dutch is considered an asset.
