Expert Java Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Expert Java Developer to join our team. The role involves leading the development and architecture of critical software systems for various projects within the department. The ideal candidate will have substantial expertise in Java development, microservices, and reactive programming, combined with a strong understanding of architecture and modern software practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Spring frameworks.
• Implement and optimize microservices architecture for scalable and efficient software systems.
• Develop asynchronous and reactive programming solutions to meet dynamic requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust solutions aligned with business needs.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous unit testing (e.g., JUnit 5, Mockito).
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL or MariaDB and manage data integrity.
• Utilize tools like Kafka, Kibana, Git, GitLab, Jenkins, and SonarQube for efficient development and monitoring.
• Drive cloud adoption strategies, including experience with OpenShift environments.
• Adhere to cybersecurity best practices and ensure secure software delivery.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to team goals and iterative development.

Required Skills and Experience

Mandatory (M):

• 10+ years of Java development experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with Java 11, 17, or 21.
• Expertise in SpringBoot and SpringData.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in JPA and Hibernate.
• Solid experience with reactive and asynchronous programming.
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MariaDB).
• Familiarity with Kafka and Kibana.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of OOP, Design Patterns, and Layered Application architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON for web services.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Swing and JavaFX (plus).
• Understanding of EN50.128 standards (plus).
